Tang Jie Delivers Special Lecture at POSITION: Unveiling the Power and Faith Struggles of the Bauhaus<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

In July 2025, Tang Jie was invited by China\u2019s leading architectural media platform POSITION <\/strong>\uff08archiposition.com\uff09to deliver a special lecture titled \u201cThe Price of Utopia: The Bauhaus Struggles over Power and Faith.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Drawing on more than a decade of research and rare archival materials, the lecture challenged conventional narratives and stereotypes of the Bauhaus. By tracing political struggles, ideological conflicts, and personnel shifts, Tang Jie offered a deep reconstruction of the Bauhaus\u2019s complex history and revealed the underlying reasons behind its emergence as the emblematic banner of modernism. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The lecture, distinguished by its unique academic perspective and in-depth analysis of historical sources, was widely recognized and acclaimed, and has been regarded as one of the most valuable and influential interpretations of the Bauhaus in Chinese academia in recent years.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
