Phoenix TV\u2019s GBA Discovery<\/em> Focuses on the New Guangzhou Museum of Art, with Exclusive Insights from Architect Tang Jie<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

On November 30, 2023, Phoenix TV\u2019s GBA Discovery<\/em> invited architect Tang Jie as a special guest to give an on-site interpretation of the design concepts and construction process behind the newly opened Guangzhou Museum of Art. As one of the project\u2019s principal architects, Tang Jie collaborated between 2013 and 2014 with Thomas Herzog\u2019s team and the South China University of Technology team, jointly participating in competition (two rounds), schematic design, and design development phases. From 2015 to 2023, Tang Jie continued to engage with the project as an independent architect, frequently visiting the construction site to provide direct guidance and supervision. Drawing on his extensive involvement and unique perspective, Phoenix TV invited him to share the inspiration, highlights, and technical challenges of the project, offering the public a deeper understanding of this newly completed landmark in Guangzhou. The program was officially broadcast on Phoenix TV on December 13, 2023.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
