The design adds a new children\u2019s and youth theater to Theater Ulm while expanding the spaces of the existing building. The new volume is composed of two parts, separated yet connected by a distinct joint. As an urban ensemble of old and new, the architecture reflects the individual identities of the two theaters while simultaneously acting as a gesture of connection between the institutions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

At the heart of the design, both theaters open generously onto a roof garden, transforming the defining joint into a space of encounter. With its layered roofscape, striking joint, and the interplay between closed and open fa\u00e7ade surfaces, the new structure takes on the character of an abstract monolithic sculpture. Approaching the building step by step, visitors experience the expressive power of the material and the rich detail of the fa\u00e7ade.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The fa\u00e7ade itself emerges from the composition of light-colored bricks, creating a woven surface that recalls the curtain as a central element of stage performance. Like a veil that both conceals and reveals, the fa\u00e7ade opens at selected points as a perforated wall, mediating between inside and outside while offering glimpses into the life of the theater.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u8be5\u8bbe\u8ba1\u5728\u4e4c\u5c14\u59c6\u5267\u9662\u7684\u57fa\u7840\u4e0a\u589e\u8bbe\u4e86\u4e00\u5ea7\u5168\u65b0\u7684\u513f\u7ae5\u4e0e\u9752\u5c11\u5e74\u5267\u9662\uff0c\u540c\u65f6\u6269\u5927\u4e86\u73b0\u6709\u5267\u9662\u7684\u4f7f\u7528\u7a7a\u95f4\u3002\u65b0\u5efa\u7b51\u7531\u4e24\u4e2a\u4f53\u91cf\u7ec4\u6210\uff0c\u65e2\u901a\u8fc7\u4e00\u9053\u6e05\u6670\u7684\u7f1d\u9699\u76f8\u4e92\u5206\u9694\uff0c\u53c8\u5f7c\u6b64\u76f8\u8fde\u3002\u4f5c\u4e3a\u4e00\u7ec4\u7531\u65b0\u65e7\u6784\u6210\u7684\u57ce\u5e02\u5efa\u7b51\u7fa4\uff0c\u5b83\u65e2\u4f53\u73b0\u4e86\u4e24\u5ea7\u5267\u9662\u5404\u81ea\u7684\u72ec\u7279\u8eab\u4efd\uff0c\u53c8\u8c61\u5f81\u6027\u5730\u4e3a\u4e24\u5bb6\u673a\u6784\u4e4b\u95f4\u5efa\u7acb\u4e86\u8054\u7cfb\u3002<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u5728\u8bbe\u8ba1\u7684\u6838\u5fc3\u4f4d\u7f6e\uff0c\u4e24\u5ea7\u5267\u9662\u5747\u5927\u9762\u79ef\u5411\u5c4b\u9876\u82b1\u56ed\u655e\u5f00\uff0c\u4f7f\u8fd9\u9053\u5177\u6709\u6807\u5fd7\u6027\u7684\u7f1d\u9699\u8f6c\u5316\u4e3a\u4ea4\u6d41\u4e0e\u76f8\u9047\u7684\u7a7a\u95f4\u3002\u51ed\u501f\u5c42\u53e0\u7684\u5c4b\u9876\u5f62\u6001\u3001\u9c9c\u660e\u7684\u5206\u7f1d\uff0c\u4ee5\u53ca\u865a\u5b9e\u4ea4\u66ff\u7684\u7acb\u9762\u5173\u7cfb\uff0c\u65b0\u5efa\u90e8\u5206\u5448\u73b0\u51fa\u4e00\u5ea7\u62bd\u8c61\u6574\u4f53\u96d5\u5851\u822c\u7684\u6c14\u8d28\u3002\u89c2\u4f17\u5728\u9010\u6b65\u63a5\u8fd1\u5efa\u7b51\u7684\u8fc7\u7a0b\u4e2d\uff0c\u53ef\u4ee5\u5207\u8eab\u4f53\u4f1a\u5230\u6750\u6599\u7684\u8868\u73b0\u529b\u4e0e\u7acb\u9762\u4e30\u5bcc\u7684\u7ec6\u8282\u3002<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u7acb\u9762\u91c7\u7528\u6d45\u8272\u7816\u5757\u780c\u7b51\uff0c\u5f62\u6210\u5982\u540c\u7f16\u7ec7\u822c\u7684\u8868\u9762\uff0c\u4ee4\u4eba\u8054\u60f3\u5230\u821e\u53f0\u8868\u6f14\u7684\u6838\u5fc3\u5143\u7d20\u2014\u2014\u5e55\u5e03\u3002\u5b9b\u5982\u4e00\u5c42\u65e2\u906e\u853d\u53c8\u663e\u9732\u7684\u7eb1\u5e55\uff0c\u7acb\u9762\u5728\u4e0d\u540c\u4f4d\u7f6e\u5f00\u53e3\uff0c\u5f62\u6210\u9542\u7a7a\u5899\u4f53\uff0c\u5728\u5185\u5916\u4e4b\u95f4\u5efa\u7acb\u8fc7\u6e21\uff0c\u5e76\u4e3a\u89c2\u4f17\u63d0\u4f9b\u4e86\u7aa5\u89c1\u5267\u9662\u6d3b\u52a8\u7684\u673a\u4f1a\u3002<\/p>\n\n\n\n
