As part of the development of Beijing\u2019s Tongzhou Sub-Center and the new campus of Renmin University of China, renowned European architect Max Dudler<\/strong>, known as a master of library design, was invited to lead the project. Tang Jie<\/strong> joined his team as the Chinese project manager, participating fully in and contributing to the entire design process.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Positioned at the heart of the campus\u2019s central axis, the library is conceived as the most significant landmark and public space of the new campus. Its spatial sequence unfolds through a timber structural system: from the sunken plaza and 24-hour study areas, to the rare book reading rooms surrounding the central atrium, and culminating in a three-story grand reading hall at the top. The atmosphere is reminiscent of a forest, with transparent fa\u00e7ades and skylights introducing abundant daylight, seamlessly connecting interior and exterior experiences.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Material choices highlight warmth and permanence, combining timber with light-colored artificial stone colonnades that evoke elegance and timelessness. Integrated sustainable strategies\u2014including photovoltaic panels, shading devices, and renewable materials\u2014ensure ecological performance and energy efficiency.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As both a beacon of knowledge and a public living room for the campus, the new library is envisioned not only as a place of study, but also as a vital space for exchange, leisure, and inspiration.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u4e3a\u914d\u5408\u5317\u4eac\u57ce\u5e02\u526f\u4e2d\u5fc3\u4e0e\u4e2d\u56fd\u4eba\u6c11\u5927\u5b66\u901a\u5dde\u6821\u533a\u7684\u5efa\u8bbe\uff0c\u6b27\u6d32\u8457\u540d\u56fe\u4e66\u9986\u5efa\u7b51\u5e08 Max Dudler<\/strong> \u53d7\u9080\u4e3b\u6301\u65b0\u6821\u533a\u56fe\u4e66\u9986\u8bbe\u8ba1\u3002\u5510\u6770<\/strong>\u4f5c\u4e3a\u4e2d\u65b9\u8d1f\u8d23\u4eba\u52a0\u5165\u5176\u56e2\u961f\uff0c\u5168\u7a0b\u53c2\u4e0e\u5e76\u63a8\u52a8\u4e86\u9879\u76ee\u7684\u6574\u4f53\u8bbe\u8ba1\u8fc7\u7a0b\u3002<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u5efa\u7b51\u4f4d\u4e8e\u6821\u56ed\u4e2d\u8f74\u7ebf\u7684\u6838\u5fc3\u4f4d\u7f6e\uff0c\u662f\u65b0\u6821\u533a\u6700\u91cd\u8981\u7684\u5730\u6807\u4e0e\u516c\u5171\u7a7a\u95f4\u3002\u8bbe\u8ba1\u4ee5\u6728\u6784\u4f53\u7cfb\u4e3a\u4e3b\uff0c\u7a7a\u95f4\u5c42\u5c42\u9012\u8fdb\uff1a\u4ece\u4e0b\u6c89\u5e7f\u573a\u4e0e\u5168\u5929\u5019\u5f00\u653e\u7684\u5b66\u4e60\u7a7a\u95f4\uff0c\u5230\u4e2d\u5ead\u73af\u7ed5\u7684\u53e4\u7c4d\u9605\u89c8\u5ba4\uff0c\u518d\u5230\u9876\u90e8\u4e09\u5c42\u901a\u9ad8\u7684\u9605\u8bfb\u5927\u5385\uff0c\u8425\u9020\u51fa\u5982\u540c\u68ee\u6797\u822c\u7684\u6c1b\u56f4\u3002\u900f\u660e\u7684\u7acb\u9762\u4e0e\u5929\u7a97\u5c06\u81ea\u7136\u5149\u5f15\u5165\u5ba4\u5185\uff0c\u4f7f\u5185\u5916\u5728\u89c6\u89c9\u4e0e\u4f53\u9a8c\u4e0a\u81ea\u7136\u878d\u5408\u3002<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u6750\u6599\u65b9\u9762\uff0c\u5efa\u7b51\u91c7\u7528\u6e29\u6da6\u7684\u6728\u6750\u4e0e\u6d45\u8272\u4eba\u9020\u77f3\u67f1\u5eca\uff0c\u65e2\u4f20\u9012\u4f18\u96c5\u7684\u5efa\u7b51\u610f\u8c61\uff0c\u53c8\u786e\u4fdd\u4e86\u6c38\u6052\u611f\u4e0e\u4eb2\u548c\u529b\u3002\u7ed3\u5408\u5149\u4f0f\u53d1\u7535\u3001\u906e\u9633\u88c5\u7f6e\u4e0e\u53ef\u518d\u751f\u6750\u6599\uff0c\u5efa\u7b51\u5b9e\u73b0\u4e86\u751f\u6001\u8282\u80fd\u4e0e\u53ef\u6301\u7eed\u6027\u3002<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u4f5c\u4e3a\u77e5\u8bc6\u7684\u706f\u5854\u4e0e\u6821\u56ed\u7684\u516c\u5171\u5ba2\u5385\uff0c\u65b0\u56fe\u4e66\u9986\u4e0d\u4ec5\u662f\u4e00\u5ea7\u5b66\u4e60\u6bbf\u5802\uff0c\u66f4\u662f\u4ea4\u6d41\u3001\u4f11\u61a9\u4e0e\u6fc0\u53d1\u7075\u611f\u7684\u91cd\u8981\u573a\u6240\u3002<\/p>\n\n\n\n
