During the post-disaster reconstruction following the 2011 earthquake and tsunami in Japan, this project developed and realized a modular, quickly assembled timber shelter<\/strong> for the fishermen of Kesennuma. Designed to be built with locally available materials<\/strong> and minimal tools, the prototype provided an affordable and immediate architectural response for people who had lost their working facilities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The system is based on standardized timber frames<\/strong>, all of which could be prefabricated in the workshop and then assembled on-site without heavy machinery. Lightweight cladding protected the structure from rain, while the interior offered essential space for storage, rest, and daily work. With a construction cost of only around 90 euros<\/strong>, the project demonstrated a low-cost, adaptable, and resource-efficient strategy for emergency architecture<\/strong> in disaster-stricken areas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This work highlights how simple construction logic, modularity, and local materials<\/strong> can create fast and effective architectural responses in extreme situations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u5efa\u7b51\u7cfb\u7edf\u91c7\u7528\u6807\u51c6\u5316\u6728\u6846\u67b6\u7ed3\u6784<\/strong>\uff0c\u6240\u6709\u6784\u4ef6\u5747\u53ef\u5728\u6728\u5de5\u574a\u9884\u5236\u5e76\u5728\u73b0\u573a\u5feb\u901f\u62fc\u88c5\uff0c\u65e0\u9700\u5927\u578b\u8bbe\u5907\u3002\u5916\u8986\u677f\u6750\u53ef\u4e34\u65f6\u62b5\u5fa1\u98ce\u96e8\uff0c\u5ba4\u5185\u7a7a\u95f4\u4e3a\u6e14\u6c11\u63d0\u4f9b\u57fa\u672c\u7684\u50a8\u7269\u3001\u4f11\u606f\u4e0e\u4f5c\u4e1a\u529f\u80fd\u3002\u8be5\u9879\u76ee\u5c55\u793a\u4e86\u4f4e\u6210\u672c\u3001\u53ef\u6269\u5c55\u3001\u9002\u5e94\u6027\u5f3a\u7684\u707e\u540e\u6728\u6784\u5efa\u9020\u7b56\u7565<\/strong>\uff0c\u5e76\u4e3a\u5f53\u5730\u793e\u533a\u5728\u8d44\u6e90\u6709\u9650\u7684\u60c5\u51b5\u4e0b\u63d0\u4f9b\u5373\u65f6\u5e2e\u52a9\u3002<\/p>\n\n\n\n
